What Is This Roundup Lawsuit About, Anyway?

I've fielded a number of phone calls this week about the lawsuit against Monsanto - the maker of Roundup, a popular weed killer.

The basics are this: a lot of people used Roundup for a long time and some of them are very sick. In fact, many have been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin (sometimes called Non-Hodgkin's) Lymphoma, a cancer that begins in the lymph nodes. And that diagnosis has been linked to one of the chemicals in Roundup - glyphosate.

In March, 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer with the World Health Organization officially classified glyphosate as something called a "2A" substance. That means it is probably carcinogenic according to that organization. Monsanto has been battling lawsuits related to its product and cancer.

If you or someone you know used Roundup and has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, you should contact an attorney as soon as possible. You have rights that may simply disappear if you do nothing, and you may be entitled to substantial compensation.

I handle cases involving potentially toxic products like Roundup, and if you have any questions, I am available to help.
